Available in either standard or rapid replacement glazing configuration and with or without hidden clamp-ring fasteners, the Evolution Framed Window Series can be equipped with all available graffiti protection options offered including our 3rd generation sacrificial protection shields that may be replaced in less than one minute.
Available in all common glazing and window configurations, a superior and updated low profile appearance adds an exceptional aesthetic appeal to this series of windows. All windows in the Evolution Framed Window Series are built and tested in accordance with FMVSS 217 guidelines with materials that conform to the applicable requirements of ANSI Z26.1 and the Recommended Practices defined in SAE J673. Framed Bus Window Configurations
Tip-in over Fixed
The tip-in over fixed window assembly has a cut-out in the top third of the window which riders can open to let in fresh air.
Fixed over Fixed
The fixed over fixed window has two solid fixed pieces of glazing that provide the illusion of a tip-in window.
Full Fixed
The full fixed window assembly is a solid piece of glazing with no opening options.
Fixed over Slider
The fixed over slider transit bus window has a fixed upper portion and a lower sliding section, which can be opened via a front sliding sash or a front and rear-sliding sash. This design is recommended for taller window openings that do not permit a full slider design.
Slider over Fixed
The slider over fixed transit bus window has a sliding top section and a fixed lower section. The top sliding section can be opened via a front sliding sash or a front and rear-sliding sash.
